Blue Baby Bottle
Again, bought this back in early aughts, pre-GC days when Blue was making mics in Latvia. It has a fairly flat, slightly mid-forward sound (meaning, it's not brittle and overly bright like many new mics), and a relatively wide pattern, which can take SPL. Although it's a large diaphragm condenser, it is not generally my first choice for vocals. In fact, I don't know if I've ever kept a vocal recorded on this. (though I will try it again some day I'm sure). But I have had good success with it on guitar and bass cabinets, as well as a room mic for drums. I've also tossed it in front of bright acoustic instruments to help even them out, and it works well for that. Not my first call mic, but it does have it's uses.
