SOFTWARE
Lynx Aurora AD/DA
This is my analog-digital/digital-analog converter. In layman's terms, this unit turns analog signals (ie, your playing and singing/anything that goes into a mic) into digital signals (zeros and ones that the DAW reads), and also turns digital signals into analog so we can hear it after it's recorded. Hence AD/DA, digital/analog. I don't obsess on things like converters, in fact, I don't want to even think about them. I want them to work well, and be out of the way so I can get to the business of making records. In this class, Lynx are the ones I prefer.
